Hey! I’m Mercedes Samudio (she/her), an African American female who has been working to change the lives of Black families for over 15 years. From my work in community mental health working with foster youth, to my years as a private practice clinician empowering parents to heal and raise whole children, to the #endparentshaming movement & Shame Proof Parenting book, to being trained in EMDR and Brainspotting & diving into healing trauma, to my current research showcasing the devastating consequences of continuing to ignore the mental health outcomes of Black tweens, I am so equipped and passionate about bringing this training to y’all!
